Competition Company
Company auditions for the 2025-2026 season will be Sunday, May 18! Mark your calendars and stay tuned for more information and an audition form. In the meantime, please take a look at the summer and school year requirements for Company dancers.
General Requirements
Company
Company members must take Ballet, Jazz, and Technique classes from September-May. Teen level company dancers must also take an additional class in a supplementary style (Tap, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Pointe, Acro, etc). All company dancers meet one extra class per week to rehearse their competition dances. Currently younger dancers rehearse on Fridays and older dancers on Sundays. Some dancers will rehearse on Wednesdays depending on their choreography groups.
We attend 3 required local competitions per year. We also offer dancers the option to go to Nationals each year, either in Oklahoma or in our region.

Summer Requirements
Our traditional competition company dancers are required to take a total of 16 hours at Premiere over the summer to fulfill their company requirements.
- Each class counts hour for hour towards requirements. So, if a class meets for 8 hours, and they attend them all, it will count as 8 hours towards their requirements.
- Nutcracker class will count as 6 hours for one role and 12 hours for 2 roles.
- If you have a dancer who is 5-7 years old, we would like to encourage you to enroll in the competition boot camp.
- Additionally, all dancers on our competition team should enroll in the 6-8 age group classes versus the 4-6 age group classes.
Company Handbook
The handbook for our 2024-2025 competition season is available below. Please read over this for reference. The handbook may be revised for the upcoming season, but this includes a variety of information and can be a great frame of reference for you when considering auditioning for Company.
