Pre-Professional Program

Premiere is excited to introduce a new Pre-Professional training program for the 2026-2027 dance season! Many dancers have expressed interest in training at a higher level, and attending more conventions and intensives in addition to their regular classes. Pre-Pro is intended for advanced dancers ages 10 and up who consider dance their primary extracurricular activity, and are committed to consistent attendance and full participation. This is for dancers who are serious about dance, and are prepared for increased training hours. We are excited about this opportunity to further our dancers' growth! While we are still planning details, we wanted to share a few ideas we have about the program in hopes to see what dancers might be interested for the 2026-2027 season.
  • Admission to the Pre-Professional Program is by audition only. To ensure each dancer receives focused training and individualized attention, enrollment is limited. The Pre-Pro Program is designed for dancers demonstrating advanced technical ability, strong artistry, and exceptional dedication.
  • Dancers accepted into the Pre-Pro program will be expected to follow all requirements of our regular Competition Company, including participating in at least 3 group dances in addition to production.
  • Pre-Pro dancers will take one additional technique class per week, and one additional advanced level ballet class. Dancers in the program will also be required to attend monthly master classes offered at the studio in styles such as Ballroom, Hip Hop, Ballet, Acro, and more.
  • Pre-Pro dancers will be required to attend 3 conventions per year as a group. These conventions will be in drivable locations such as Tulsa, Dallas, and Kansas City.
  • Select Pre-Pro dancers will be invited to compete in a Pre-Pro small group. This small group will compete at the required local competitions, as well as the 3 required Pre-Pro conventions. On top of technical ability and overall performance quality, average age will be considered when forming this small group. Our goal is to create a group with dancers of a similar age to compete together. Dancers who fall outside of this majority age range may still be given the opportunity to participate in the other aspects of the program pending acceptance. Dancers will have the option to opt out of participating in the small group if they are not interested.
The Pre-Professional Program will involve additional tuition beyond current class enrollment, reflecting increased training hours and technique classes, convention entry fees, and master classes. While exact pricing is still being finalized, families should anticipate that this will be a meaningful financial investment consistent with advanced competitive training programs. Detailed tuition information will be provided prior well in advance of auditions.
We are actively working on logistics such as cost, scheduling, etc. Our goal at this stage is to gather interest in the program, and to see what questions or feedback you may have. Please fill out the form linked below if you think this program could potentially be a good fit for your dancer, and you would be interested in learning more about the program as details become available. Filling out the form below is NOT committing to auditioning or joining the program.
