Company Calendar

Please find the company calendar for the year below.  This indicates each week that we will have competition rehearsals and any weeks that we will be closed.  Additionally, you will find other important dates on this calendar such as the Company Christmas party, dress rehearsal, all production rehearsals, due dates, competition banquet, competition auditions for next year, picture day, etc.  Please add all of these dates to your calendar for the season.  As a reminder, all private lessons are subject to change according to your private lesson teacher's schedule. ​

New Season Reminders

  1. FRIDAY "CLASS" - All competition dancers have a Friday class that shows on their Studio Director account.  This is not necessarily when they come to class each week.  It is just a "class" that we put them in for our company dancer roster.
  2. FIRST WEEK OF REHEARSALS - Group rehearsal happen on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Our first week of rehearsals will be on 9/3, 9/5, and 9/7.
  3. PRIVATE LESSONS - Private lesson times are arranged and managed by each teacher.  You will receive 9 hours of private lesson time over the season.  If you need any assistance regarding private lessons, please reach out to your teacher directly.  Please confirm with your teacher the start date of any private lessons. 

Required Competitions 2025-2026

Please find below the 3 required competitions that we will attend in OKC this season as well as the required competition dress rehearsal date.  Just a reminder that all dancers must hold these dates completely free of any conflicts.  ​
  • Sunday, Jan. 26th - Dress Rehearsal 
  • Jan 30 - Feb 1 - Starquest 
  • Feb 20-22 - Showbiz
  • April 17 - 19 - Stage One

Absence Policy

​Attendance to class and company rehearsals are mandatory. Acceptance into this company is a commitment both in time and dedication. We only accept dancers who WANT to improve and attend class and rehearsals regularly. If a student needs to miss a rehearsal at any time they must fill out an absence request via our Google Form one week in advance.
Company Rehearsal Attendance: Not showing up without significant notification is not acceptable. Each dancer will only be allowed 3 absences for group dance rehearsals for the season. After absence number 3, they will not be allowed any additional absences and punitive action will be taken. In addition, THERE WILL BE NO APPROVED ABSENCES FOR THE MONTH OF JANUARY AND EARLY FEBRUARY. Those rehearsals are the most important of the entire year, and affect the success of our team as a whole. Any rehearsals missed to attend conventions or competitions are considered an absence (DDI is excused).
Technique Class Attendance: Company members are allotted 3 absences from their required technique classes for the school year. If a company member misses more than three required technique classes they are required to make-up their missed class in another level. Parents/dancers, please stay on top of your attendance. If you know that you will be missing a class, you are more than welcome to do a make-up class in advance. If a student is ill, but not contagious, they are required to attend class and/or rehearsals and observe. Students are required to attend all classes and rehearsals during the week of a competition.
