Our Special ProgramsPremiere Dance Company offers two opportunities to take your dance experience to the next level. Auditions are held each spring for our competitive and pre-professional groups.
Our competitive dance company is a great opportunity for girls who exhibit a natural talent and drive, to train and compete at a more intense level. Styles of dance our competition company may compete in include Musical Theater, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Hip Hop, & Lyrical. Company members practice one extra evening per week and compete in a minimum of three local competitions per season. Members also have the opportunity to compete in Solos, Duets/Trios, Small Groups, & Large Groups. Auditions are in the spring of each year following recital. Premiere's Pre-Professional group is for the serious dancer who is looking to further their dance training with the focus being on developing dancers to audition for college and a professional career in dance. Extra practice and conventions each season will aid in this technique intensive program. Auditions are the same week of company auditions. Dancers in this program also have to opportunity to preform at special events such as Blue Thunder and Debbie Dance for Cancer Awareness. |
